Emma graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University in 2024. During her studies, she became increasingly interested in understanding German genealogical research. As a research assistant in the history department, she spent much of her time researching the lives of Norwegian immigrants and transcribing books in German fraktur script.
She is now an active contributor to the book series German Immigrants in American Church Records and also works as a Content Project Manager at MyHeritage, where she focuses on preparing Eastern European record sets for publication.
