Gina Palmer, M.S., an American native of Germany, moved to the United States to attend college. As a young girl she helped her mother read and translate old German church records. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a Master’s in Outdoor and Environmental Education. She recently received an Associate’s degree in Family History Research from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
She has volunteered as an indexer for FamilySearch Indexing and for the Baranov Museum/Kodiak Historical Society. She was also a archives volunteer for the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in Alaska. She has conducted on-site research in Germany. She is currently an intern with the German Research Consultant team at the Salt Lake City Family History Library. She is also a researcher for Legacy Family History, Inc., and Price Genealogy, as well as a contract transcriber and translator for SK Translations.
